Those who objected artist MF for some piece of art are themselves making a mockery of norms of politics and culture. This cartoon is a reflection of a level of personal hate, an example of shock communications at its absolute worst. You can call it cheap sensationalism. The BJP politics only hacks stoop to that level. I am offended as the word DAYAN is used. I am sure this silly cartoon is the most eloquent display of personal Vendetta against Sonia Gandhi who had singularly pushed them out of power. And I would assume it is very personal to a lot of women also. If BJP wants to be treated fairly or to be considered as a credible voice to listen to they should think long and hard about what they are doing and saying.

This is being made into a controversy like the Danish cartoons. India always had a tradition of political caricaturing, which including some lampooning of leaders and policies. Why such outrage now? Is Ms.Gandhi some extraordinary persona? If there is such anguish, why not approach the courts? Such uproar by sycophants like you is childish. With price rise, Kashmir mismanagement and loot of funds in CWG there is more relevant and important things for India, than a cartoon.

Saturday , 7 Aug ‘10 15:39:30 PM Reply | Forward As usual Mr Naqvi is giving his best,through euphemistic expression,to display his deep inculcated hatred and grudging instinct.A mind dominated with bias,prejudices,fanaticism but fails to take wide,sound,tolerant,many-sided views of life and style of politics(and even in normal life)can’t pass acurate judgement about Ethos and moral standards of great institution.When ever there is mention of Modi,BJP or Hindu values Mr Naqvi comes out with typical and base ideas drivelling irrelevent and futile ideas.How foolishly one can compare blasphemous painting of MF and Danish Cartoonist with a ordianry political person!This depicts the lowest standard of morals and intellect,which form the primal base of character.The strongest passions of antipathy and strong aversion infused right from childhood melt inzto habits which won’t let indivisual to see the things from all sides.BJP doesn’t want any certification,advice or suggestion from you and your sort.What makes you connect Womanhood&polit
I don’t think if anyone,who has normal healthy brain will oppose so harshly the cartton on this poster.This is too minor and harmless way of criticizing an indivisual especially a politician who are directly involved and responsible to lead the country.This kind of political sarcasm speaks more words of truth than any lengthy statement.On the other hand this depends how one interprets the cartoon by himself/herself.I found no semblance between SoniaGandhi and this Witch(portray)and thought this Witch depicts Horrible Face of Mehangai;Artists fantasy.It was only when I read objection of Congress/Sonia’s chamcha I could draw Sonia’s resemblance to it.If was to do It would have been much clearer and closer to real face.Politicians all over the world(free and democratic)even extra-ordinarily drawn cartoons are published which nobody take seriously;insulting or defaming.When Sonia was portrayed by Congies as Devi was real Blasphemy,and when MF Hussain painted nude devis where was Dixit&Co?
